On June 20, 1960, at the Polo Grounds in New York Heavyweight Champion Ingemar Johansson defended his title against the man he won it from a year earlier, Floyd Patterson. Patterson gained his revenge with a spectacular knockout in the sixth round to become the first man in history to regain the heavyweight title. Offered here are 14 first generation action shots taken for this historic event. These high resolution photos are 8" x 10" sporting edge and corner wear, minimal creases and some mild staining.
