Framed Color Photos with McGee, Sutter, Hernandez from Stadium Club (4)
The Cardinals’ high points in the 1980s and 1990s – including one of the baseball’s most profound moments – live for eternity in these four matted and framed color photos featuring the best Redbirds of recent vintage taken at Busch Stadium. The first three photos pay homage to the early 1980’s with riveting images that include: 1) Vince Coleman hustling down the first base line (27” x 33”); 2) A long and lean Willie McGee taking a cut with his back leg lifted off the ground (33” x 38”); 3) A two-shot collage showing relief pitcher Bruce Sutter closing out a game and a meeting of the minds on the mound during a pitching change, during which manager Whitey Herzog chats up catcher Darrell Porter and first baseman Keith Hernandez, all of whom wear black armbands (21” x 30”). Fourth photo is self-explanatory – Mark McGwire belting out home run number 62 in 1998, a moment when everyone inside Busch held their breath until the ball was safely over the wall (33” x 39”). All photos are EX-MT. <br>(Estimate $500 - $1,000)
