Frank Baker by Paul Thompson (1910's)
HOFer John Franklin "Home Run" Baker played third base for the Philadelphia A's and the NY Yankees. He led the AL in home runs in 1911 earning him the moniker “Home Run” and helped the A's to win three World Series and the Yankees two pennants. This is a trimmed photo measuring 4" x 6 1/2" taken by well known photographer Paul Thompson and stamped as such on the verso. It is in EX-MT condition. Image pictures Baker as a Philadelphia Athletic taken in the 1910’s.
