Frank Robinson Batting By Arthur K. Miller
Maine artist Arthur K. Miller has made a career creating photo-like portraits of legendary baseball stars. Case in point: this brilliant Frank Robinson batting portrait from the Hall of Famer's days as a Baltimore Oriole. This particular painting was created especially for the then-new Nationals Park in Washington, DC as Robinson was the franchise's first manager prior to the move. Images of these paintings were blown up and attached to columns along the main concourse. It measures approximately 21" x 27" framed and is signed in the upper-right corner against a perpetually blue sky. Robinson was a triple-crown winner and member of the 500 Home Run Club.
