<p>Presented is the home run baseball that home Atlanta Braves first baseman Fredie Freeman hit in Game 5, on Oct. 31st of the 2021 World Series against the Houston Astros at Truist Park. The blast gave the Braves a 5-4 lead and it was Freeman's final homer in a home contest as an Atlanta Brave. Although the Braves lost the game 9-5, Atlanta came back, in the next game, with Freeman hitting another homer, to take 4 games to 2 Series victory over Houston. Freeman hit this ball for a home run off Framber Valdez in the third inning. Freeman is a 5-time All-Star, with 271 home runs, three Silver Slugger Awards, a .295 batting average and a career POS of .892. He produces in the clutch. "Usually, I can get the job done with men in scoring position," is Freeman's frank assessment of his run producing. He is a good fielder, having won three Gold Glove Awards. Freddie has joined the Los Angeles Dodgers this season in a free agent signing. The Game 5 home run traveled 460 feet, tied for the longest home run of Freeman's career. It also was the longest home run in the 2021 post-season. The ball shows appropriate use. It has the World Series logo on a side panel and "2021 World Series" on the label.
