Full Boxing Tickets Collection (14)
This collection of 14 full boxing tickets contains printed paths of entry to some of this past century’s greatest matches. Most notable is the June 19, 1946 World Heavyweight Championship fight between champion Joe Louis and challenger Billy Conn, the first televised heavyweight championship fight in history. There is another Billy Conn ticket, this one dating from August 13, 1940 and the opponent is Bob Pastor. There is a Bob Murphy and Jake LaMotta ticket from a fight on June 27, 1951 at Yankee Stadium. The most contemporary ticket hails from the Marvelous Marvin Hagler vs.Thomas Hearns at Madison Square Garden on April 15, 1985. Several of the remaining tickets are from charity events and there are 3 Golden Gloves amateur tournament tickets dating as far back as 1936. All of the tickets are in EX-MT condition with minimal wrinkling or age wear. The colors are still vibrant and there is almost no fading.
