Game Used Bats and Gloves Collection with Griffey (6)
Four game used bats and two game used gloves are included in this game worn baseball collection. First is a game used bat from superstar Ken Griffey, Jr. This black Louisville Slugger C271dates from 1991 and has original tape on the handle. It bears a not so clear signature of Griffey in white magic marker. The bat has a slight crack below the sweet spot but is intact and shows great game use. Next is a game used black Cooper Pro 100 bat signed by Juan Gonzalez. This 35" bat shows great game use and is signed by Gonzalez in red ink on the handle. The signature rates an "8" out of 10. A handsome Will Clark autographed bat featuring the Rawlings Adirondack logo and signed by Clark in blue sharpie, "To Steve, 'Good Luck', Will" on the barell is next. The bat shows definite game use and has "Big Stick, Will Clark, Giants" on it with Clark's number 22 written on the knob. The last bat in this collection is a Matt Williams model Louisville Slugger signed by over 20 members of the 1990 San Francisco Giants including Williams, Will Clark, Roger Craig, Kevin Bass and Kelly Downs. The signatures are in bold, black sharpie and average a "9" out of a possible 10. The first glove in this lot is a black game worn Mizuno model showing plenty of game use and signed "David Justice, #23" in sliver sharpie by the thumb. The signature rates an "8.5" out of a possible 10. His #23 is written on the mitt’s label right near the Mizuno label. Finally, a black game used glove from Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn signed by Gwynn in gold sharpie on the inside by the pinke. Manufactured by Franklin, this is "The Backhander" model shows moderate use and has Gwynn's name stamped on the pocket.
