His road blue jersey, trimmed in red and navy, exhibits light but evident use picked up during “The Kid’s” career best season. That year the newest HOF'er would post high’s in hits, RBI’s, batting average, and games played. On the left chest, in red tackle twill is “Expos”, below a tri-colored Montreal “M”. On the opposite chest is his number “8”. “Carter” arches across the shoulders over the number “8” on the reverse. Tagged in the collar is “Rawlings [size] 46” with “84” chain-stitched in red to a blue tackle twill plate on the tail. The signature model H&B K55 bat (34”) is littered with ball marks and rack scuffs. On the knob, in black marker is “#8” and “G.C.”. Completing the trio is the red, white and blue batting helmet from “American Baseball Cap”. Both inner and outer surfaces show solid wear as does the padded brown leather headband. Stickered [size] “7 ?” on the inside along with a black “Carter” nameplate on the reverse. Each piece is signed in dark black sharpie with an additional black sharpie signature from Steve Rogers on the helmet. LOA.
