Gary Cooper Paramount Pictures Key Fob
Gary Cooper was a matinee idol during the 1930s, ‘40s and ‘50s who starred in such blockbuster films as A Farewell to Arms, Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, High Noon, and The Pride of the Yankees, the latter in which he portrayed the life and playing career of Lou Gehrig, the New York Yankees first baseman who succumbed to ALS. Cooper was known for his strong, quiet screen persona and understated acting style. This lot offers a Gary Cooper emblazoned Paramount Pictures key fob. The brass piece, which is engraved on the back with the Paramount Pictures emblem and “DRESSING ROOM 9” at the bottom, measures two inches in diameter. Cooper won two Academy Awards for Best Actor: The Pride of the Yankees (1942), and High Noon (1952).
