Geese Ausbie 1960s-80s Harlem Globetrotter Uniforms (5)
From one of the most beloved teams in the world comes the centerpieces of this five-piece lot. Herbert "Geese" Ausbie turned down offers from both the NBA and MLB, opting instead to become a centerpiece of the famed Harlem Globetrotters. Ausbie's blue shooting shirt with red number 35 on front and "GEESE" on back is included (no tags). There are two colorful Reebok game jerseys, circa 1980s, with "Showtime" Gaffney's name and number "32" on back. Finally, a full Globetrotters warmup suit; the Speedline set includes tagging indicating an XL top and Large pants. The number "15" is written on the pants label in black marker, and the set shows nice use and the vivid colors which are part of the team's global fame. Fine condition and use.
