This 7 x 9" image captures the 47th annual dinner of the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association when Gene Sarazen accepted the award of most courageous athlete for Ben Hogan who was absent. Also pictured are Holland Donan, college lineman of the year, Jim Konstanty of the Phillie's and Paul Arizin an All American Basketball Star. The photo is in VG condition with good color contrast but some wrinkling around the edges.
