Over (120) vintage wire photos make up this exciting collection headlined by heavyweight champ Gene Tunney. The photographs follow Tunney from the late '20's into the '40's and show him at work, at play and on the road. Tunney is seen training for upcoming bouts, travelling to England, golfing, swimming, playing the harp, attending various charity and business functions and spending casual moments with his wife and family. Most with dates and original captions, neatly preserved in plastic and placed in two looseleaf notebooks. Good to excellent contrast, average condition is EX-MT to NRMT.
