George Gervin Spurs Multi-Signed Jersey
The Ice Man cometh again, delivered by Gervin’s old Spurs jersey that recalls all those finger rolls and the skinny man’s cooler-than-cool attitude. Jersey was signed by Gervin and 24 fellow ABA greats who were in a league and a dimension of their own, including Julius Erving (with a fabulous “Dr. J” flourish), Moses Malone, Artis Gilmore, Marvin Barnes, Rick Darnell, Jumbo Jim Eakins, Mack Calvin and many others who shot a red, white and blue ball and never met a showboat play they didn’t like. ABA alums gathered at the 2005 NBA All-Star Game, where they signed and reminisced.
