George H. W. Bush And Bill Clinton Signed Pieces

George H. W. Bush And Bill Clinton Signed Pieces

What do you get when you put a former Republican President together with a former Democratic President? You get two remarkably rare signed pieces in one politically correct collection. On March 3rd, 1997, the 41st President of the United States (and father of the soon-to-become 43rd President) participated in a Private Signing Session in Houston, Texas. Former President George Bush autographed this Yale Commemorative Jersey, part of a limited edition of only 100. The handsome pinstriped jersey, size XL was made by Mitchell & Ness of Philadelphia. The signature “George Bush” is in black ink and is on the front of the jersey just below the big Yale lettering. On the lower right is a patch reading “George Herbert Walker Bush” 41st President of the United States January 20th, 1989-January 20th, 1993.” The wording also includes the limited edition numbers: “97 of 100”. The back of the jersey has the number “2.” An LOA is included. The man who beat Bush and became the 42nd President is featured on the cover of the September 17th, 1992 issue of Rolling Stone magazine. A smiling Bill Clinton is featured in the issue in a special interview. A clean ink signature “Bill Clinton” is on the cover to the right of his face.Inside the issue is an article by publisher Jann Wenner endorsing “Clinton for President.” Any serious political collector should definitely elect to vote for this historic signature collection.
