George H.W. Bush Single-Signed Baseball (JSA)

George H.W. Bush Single-Signed Baseball (JSA)

Presented is a George H. W. Bush single-signed Rawlings Official Major League Baseball (Selig). George H.W. Bush was the 41st U.S. President, and he served from 1989-93. During his term as President, Bush presided over some of the final years of the Cold War, and he helped to bring about the reunification of Germany. President Bush was himself a baseball player, as he played first base for Yale University, a team that participated in the first two College World Series. A slick-fielder, Bush often joked that he batted "second-clean-up" for the Yale Eli's, meaning he hit eighth. As the son of George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush became the 43rd President of the U.S. and was an owner of the Texas Rangers baseball team. President George H.W. Bush signed the ball on the sweet spot, using blue ink from a felt-tip marker. Apparently, although it is not certain, he added "41" as an inscription. As far as the signature, the ball comes with a Full JSA LOA.
