This powerful creation of folk artist extraordinaire George Sosnack not only has a beautifully handpainted half honoring the 25th Annual Governor's Baseball Dinner in 1971; the Pride of St. Louis, Lou Brock, is shown sliding in for yet another stolen base at the peak of his base running powers. The other half is blessed with 14 NM signatures obtained in person by Sosnack himself, who attended many of these dinners: Satchel Paige, Bill Skowron, Rip Sewell, Warren Giles, Jack Himel, Joe Pignatano, Dizzy Dean, Luke Appling, Bowie Kuhn, Jim Campbell, Al Monchak, Bob Uecker, Red Schoendienst and Bill Terry on the sweet spot. All this on a Joe Cronin OAL ball. Gorgeous!
