George Sosnak 1978 Detroit Tigers Aurelio Rodriguez Painted Baseball
The master craftsman of decorated baseballs, George Sosnak, created yet another masterpiece with this colorful work of art rawhide canvas for his favorite team, the Detroit Tigers. Straight from the 1978 season, this ball is dedicated to Aurelio Rodriguez and has a full-color painting of him catching a ball and making an important play with an ode to his reliability. On the blank area is an original autograph in blue ballpoint, rating a 10/10. Smashing artwork includes a great tiger and "Detriot Tigers," overall in EX-MT condition. Sosnak died in 1992 and Rodriguez in 2000; the latter was tragically hit by a car and all of Mexico mourned his passing.
