Georges Carpentier "The Wonder Man" One Sheet Stone Litho Poster
This is a magnificent movie poster picturing former light heavyweight champion Georges Carpentier in the Robertson-Cole production of Wonder Man. Carpentier is a boxer who works for the French Secret Service (quite a career combination, there!) who discovers a fraud against the government. Produced in 1920. This beautiful poster is an original made by Ritchley Lithographic Corp. of New York. 27" x 40" and has been professionally linen backed. Bold color. Fold lines are faintly evident. Extremely rare, the only example we have seen.
