Gerry Adams Sinn Fein IRA Wire Photos (19)
Fascinating group of wire photos from the early 1990's covering Gerry Adams, President of Sinn Fein, the political wing of the Irish Republican Army. This group of laser wire photos is overall in NM to MT condition with a small number worse due only to editor marks. Some of the best images are from Adams' US visits in 1994 after Clinton lifted the ban on relations with Sinn Fein. They include: Adams shaking hands with civil rights pioneer, Rosa Parks at a conference in Detroit; being interviewed by Charlie Rose for PBS; signing autographs on Irish flags at the Irish-American home in Glastonbury, CT. Most images have had the front caption trimmed and taped to the versos and measure 8x10".
