GIGANTIC 1880s Queen Plug Tobacco Vaudeville Cabinet Card
A classic item, this large cardboard full-color chromo lithograph measures 7.5x12.5", made by Hoen & Co, Baltimore advertising Seal of North Carolina Smoking Tobacco by Marburg Brothers, considered by the industry to be an oversized cabinet card. Absolutely stunning lithography, what's interesting is that she is full figured, quite large by today's standards. What was considered attractive in the 19th century is obviously different than today. Says "Tobacco like liquor improves with age."
