Glenn Davis 1950 NFL Champion Los Angeles Rams Jacket
Important relic from this Heisman Trophy winner and member of the famed Blanchard & Davis Duo. Gold jacket in luscious satin is trimmed in early Rams blue and gold. The name on the back in blue felt is awe-inspiring: "Rams". The capper is the stars and bars patch on the chest "L.A. Rams World Champions". Tagged in the collar by "Frederick's and Company" of Los Angeles. Size "42" and "Dry Clean" flag tags below. Condition is like new (EX-MT). This represents Davis' sole starring and final year in the NFL. He led the Rams in rushing and was among the top receivers in the league with 42 catches, 7 TD's and 2 scoring passes. His 83-yard pass play scored a touchdown in the 1950 Championship Game versus the Browns. His recurring knee problems forced him into retirement in 1951, the year this jacket was issued. Came directly from Glenn Davis himself.
