Goose Goslin Game Used Bat
An understated gem, this golden-toned Hillerich and Bradsby 125 from the fertile years, 1923-31, of Leon “Goose” Goslin, the Washington Senators’ clutch hitter and 1928 batting champ, who batted for the cycle in ’24, willed a 25 game hitting streak in ’28, won the World Series in ’24 with his Senators, and for a 5 year period, between the years 1924-28, batted .348. A tremendous hitter with a personality to match, he wielded this uncracked lumber with passion. Real good hand turned wood has "L. 'Goose' Goslin" in script on the barrel. Though uncracked, it has some grain separation on the barrel from use, and nice use at that, with baseball seam marks on the barrel. Measures 35".
