Goose Goslin Portrait by Arthur K. Miller

Hall of Fame outfielder Goose Goslin is experttly captured in his batting stance thanks to the exceptional talents of renowned artist Arthur K. Miller. This particular portrait of Goslin in his Washington Senators uniform was one of several created especially for the then new Nationals Park in Washington, DC. as images of the paintings were blown up and attached to columns along the main concourse. Goslin was a career .316 hitter who won the American League batting title in 1928. He played 11 of his 18 major league seasons in Washington. The framed portrait measures roughly 14" x 17" and Miller signed the lower right corner.
