Gordie Howe 1969 NHL Signed Game Used Stick
Hockey legend Gordie Howe signed this excellent Northland stick at the start of the 1969-70 season, which was his second-to-last before his initial retirement. Red electrotape reveals the date it was acquired - October 8, 1969 - at a Detroit Red Wings-Boston Bruins game at Boston Garden. It was later personalized: "Best regards Gordie Howe." The stick shows very heavy use, including many stick marks from furious action. There is some tape loss but it hardly diminishes this gem of an artifact.
