Gordy Coleman's 1990 Cincinnati Reds World Championship Ring (Coleman Family LOA)
A classic 1960s Cincinnati Reds player and Cincy Hall of Famer, Gordy Coleman became a fan favorite in the broadcast booth while he color commentated the thrilling 1990 sweep. This ring is a beauty! A red stone provides the bed on top, housing a "C" that is accented with real shimmering diamonds. "CINCINNATI REDS 1990 WORLD CHAMPIONS" encircles the face, while the left shank features Coleman's name, the "C" logo, Riverfront Stadium and the words "WIRE TO WIRE," describing the team's first-place standing from Opening Day to their stunning upset of the powerful Oakland A's in four. The right shank features the trophy and the word "SWEEP." The size 13.5 ring, manufactured by Balfour, is in NRMT condition with inside stamping: "LGB 10K." Comes with a letter of provenance attesting that it was purchased from Gordy Coleman's son in 2009.
