Grace Kelly Birth Signature
Official birth announcement of Princess Caroline Louise Marguerite, the first child of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier, is accompanied by a photo of mother and child (3-1/2" x 5") and a handwritten note from the late screen legend. In it she thanks her close friends "Nellie" and "Weaver" for the "adorable pearl chain" they sent the newborn. It continues, "Caroline is simply divine and much sweeter then her photographs," "You are often in my thoughts & I kiss you both," closed simply with "Grace." Penned entirely in black fountain pen, the written portion is flawless with the exception of minor water stains which have causd some distortion in the "Gra" in "Grace" as well as parts of her postscript (6/10). All documents come from The Palace Monaco and most bear its raised mark. Overall the lot grades as EX-MT.
