The only other puppet that was voiced by Buffalo Bob besides Howdy Doody. Still dressed in his Veteran’s uniform and holding his cane, Howdy’s Grandfather is all original and one of The Rose’s masterpieces. Grandpa has an exquisitely carved head with age wrinkles that exude that Doody wisdom. Grandpa has an ‘animated’ mouth, bushy eyebrows and the famous Doody family blue eyes. He appeared on the TV show and figured in several plots staring in 1953.
