Great Boxing Postcards and Photo
First is an early 20th Century postcard of Heavyweight Champ Jack Johnson (3.5x5.5") holding up his boxing gloves in front of an Olympic-style wreath. The second postcard (Canadian) depicts Heavyweight Champion James Jeffries who held the title from 1899 until 1905. The postcard reads, "James J. Jeffries, 'Champion of all Champions' with his Brother Jack" and features four photos of Jeffries. Alslo includes a superb vintage photo (8.5x8") of Jeffries in street clothes, smiling in front of a brick wall. Outstanding contrast. Lot is EX-MT to NRMT.
