Great Collection of Multi-Signed Baseballs (65)
A great find for novice and experienced collector alike, this lot includes an amazing collection of over five dozen autographed baseballs. All are from St. Louis Cardinal great Mike Shannon's personal collection, some were displayed in the giant baseball pyramid that was in the center of the dinning area at his restaurant. All are multi-signed and range from two to 20+ signatures each, many are Cardinal related and includes some teams from the 1970s thru 2000s. Here's a sampling some of the team balls: 1993 Phillies, Circa 1993 Pirates, circa 1975 Cardinals, 1995 Cardinals, Circa 1999 Cardinals (w/McGwire), circa 1986 Cardinals, Old Timers (w/Curt Flood), and more, there are some duplicates. Others include: Musial/Schoendienst, Drysdale/Koufax/Snider, Mize/Brock/Slaughter/Gibson/Musial/Schoendienst, L. Smith/Sutter/Eckersley, Aparicio/O. Smith, Maddux/Eckersley/Maddux, 2003 Cardinals All-Stars (w/Pujols), Gibson/McCovey, Buck/McCarver, Eckersley/McGwire, Buck/Caray/Brett/Pujols, Buck/Buck/Shannon/McCarver, Radcliffe/O'Neil, many more, with some slight duplication. There are even a few with celebrities, including Will Ferrell/Zack Galiflanakis. One of the best in the lot is a Cardinals Old Timers ball with Roger Maris and Stan Musial. Most are on Official NL baseballs with some Cardinals souvenir balls and specialties mixed in, balls average EX with some having toning or game use, and signatures average 7-8/10 with some better.
