Great Hugh Jennings Detroit Tigers Glass Plate Negative

Great Hugh Jennings Detroit Tigers Glass Plate Negative

Original, one of a kind, circa 1910s from the camera glass plate negative of Detroit Tigers managerial great Hughie Jennings. Measures 7x5" and depicts the flamboyant Jennings in uniform holding a copy of Collier's magazine. Minor image loss to bottom edge does not impact the central image. After 18 years as a player, Jennings gained fame while managing the Tigers largely due to his antics in the third base coaches box, often hooting and kicking his right leg while yelling his trademark, "EE-YAH!" Fun find from the Brown Brothers photo collection.
