Great Yankee Team of the 1970s Bats with Blomberg Jewish Star
Straight from the 1970s - and the Oakland A's visiting dugout - come these three bats that belonged to Yankees hitters Chris Chambliss, Roy White and Ron Blomberg. The distinguishing mark comes on the latter bat as Blomberg - a Jewish player - drew a Star of David in black ink on the knob. His Hillerich & Bradsby 125 measures 36". White's brown Adirondack 307 model measures 34" and has tape wrapped nearly 8" long around the handle. Chambliss' Adirondack 302 model measures 34 3/4". The three exhibit the perfect weight and length while showing great use. They come from the visiting bat boy at Oakland Alameda County Stadium.
