Grover Cleveland Alexander Hero of Game 6 1926 World Series Program

Grover Cleveland Alexander Hero of Game 6 1926 World Series Program

Legendary hurler Grover Cleveland Alexander shut down the Yankees in Game 6 of the 1926 World Series - a 10-2 Cardinals victory at Yankee Stadium - to move his club one step away from their first World Championship. This terrific program, which features managers Miller Huggins and Rogers Hornsby on the cover, is scored from that famous Game 6. There are a couple of neatly repaired tears and a small stain on Hornsby.
