Grover Cleveland Alexander Signed Photograph by Burke (8x10")
Best known for his boozy strike out of Yankee HOF'er Tony Lazzeri in the 1926 World Series, G.C. looks much more young and spry in this photo dated "1915" in vintage ink on the bottom border. Huge 5" long autograph is especially tough, given that Alexander died over a half century ago, and was a real mess for quite a few years before that. Ink is EX; photo is VG-EX. Photograph is by famed baseball lensman George Burke.
