Hakeem Olajuwon Game Worn Warmup Jacket And Pants
Hakeem “The Dream” Olajuwon (born Akeem Abdul Olajuwon) was born in Nigeria and became one of the greatest centers in the history of the NBA. In his college and early professional seasons he was an undisciplined player, always getting into arguments with refs, pushing matches with other players and accumulating personal fouls by the bushel. Eventually he found peace in religion and tore up the league while behaving like a gentleman. He led the Rockets to consecutive championships in 1994 and 1995. They were the first pro sports championships in Houston history. Home warm-up jacket has “Rockets” across the chest and “Houston” across the back. Tags in collar: “87” patch, two Sand-Knit tags, “1MLB”, and a sewn in white patch reading “34” in black marker.” Very long tear-away pants sport NBA logo on upper right thigh. Very thorough tagging in the waist: Sand-Knit, size 36 and “Exclusive” tag, with “87”, “34” written on swatch, “39 IN” and “1 HR.” Both pieces show good game use.
