For six seasons, Hal Smith caught for the St. Louis Cardinals before becoming a coach and longtime scout with the organization. Here's his history as far as contracts go, with the years spanning between 1965-97. All are signed by Smith and team officials including Bart Giamatti, Charles Feeney, and others. There are some original envelopes and cover letters included. Consigned directly by the Hal R. Smith Family.
