Hand Painted Baseball Collection (4)
This lot of four hand-painted baseballs by artist Gary Guerra features four of the best ballplayers ever to put on a uniform - Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Roberto Clemente and Pete Rose. Some of the more significant achievements of each of these athletes are listed on each ball, and both an action and portrait painting of each player can be found on opposite sides of the balls. All hand painted in the summer of 2011, these baseballs have been sprayed with a clear UV protectant to guard against fading, and each ball comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
