Hanging of The Lincoln Conspirators Original Photographs (4)

Hanging of The Lincoln Conspirators Original Photographs (4)

From early negatives of the Carte-de-Visites owned by F. H. Meserve of New York City, these turn-of-the-century printings on thin paper and in original envelope features the handwritten designation, "The Lincoln Conspirators" in vintage pencil. Herold, Payne and John Wilkes Booth are all identified in the same hand in pencil on the back of the framed display, which measures 29.5" x 9.75". Best of all is the image of their "Execution." Each is about 4.25" x 2.75" and in EX-MT condition.
