Hank Aaron 1969 Atlanta Braves Game Used Jersey
Hank Aaron, considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time, played 21 (out of a total of 23) seasons with the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves before finishing his renowned career with the with the Milwaukee Brewers. This HOF outfielder was the first to hit 600 home runs and finished his career with a record 755 home runs - a record which stood for 31 years. Offered here is his game worn 1969 Braves road jersey. Made of grey flannel, the jersey has "Braves" stitched across the chest in cursive red lettering. Back bears the legendary number "44" attributed to baseball's home run king in large tackle twill numbers and left sleeve bears embroidered Braves head patch, while the opposite sleeve bears a nicely 1969 Major League Baseball patch. Tagging on the front left tail is "Spalding 40" and wash label with a "Set 1 1969" tag. On the inside collar of the jersey "44 40 69" is stitched. This is a perfect original jersey with no alterations that exhibits great wear and use.
