Goldsmith Sporting Goods Catchers Mitt used by Hank Gowdy . The name "Gowdy" is written in ink on the wrist strap. Originates from the Hank Gowdy estate. Obviously a favorite glove, it is well used with some scuffing and small cracks consistent with well used and aging leather. Gowdy was a member of the 1914 Miracle Braves who hung around pro ball most of his life and is a significant historical figure in Baseball history.
