Extremely rare boxing style cardboard poster is one of two recently discovered. Circa 1947, the stark imagery features the man who defined country music. With his band they are posed in front of the WSDA call letters. These “Stars of M.G.M. Records” are featured with “Miss Audrey and her songs - Uncle Lum, Comedian Sonny Norred - Red Todd - Joe Pennington.” Very top advertises, “Writer and Singer of the Nationally Famous Hit Song” Move It On Over.” Venue, date and admission charge has been left blank. Measures 11x17” and has some browning at edges, slight chips at corners but is otherwise in excellent condition.
