Harmon Killebrew's Personal 1965 Minnesota Twins Team Signed Baseball
This ball was owned by Killebrew himself and features the signatures of the 1965 Minnesota Twins. It was purchased directly from Killebrew in the 1980's by Barry Halper, an avid collector of Harmon memorabilia, and was sold in the internet phase of the Barry Halper auction. It is housed in a plastic case that still contains the original stickers from the Halper auction. Though the condition of the ball and signatures is far from perfect, it is still a fantastic collectible from the winningest team in Minnesota history. The '65 Twins were only a game away from clinching the World Series title when Sandy Koufax took the mound against them in Game 7. Harmon got the last hit in the last inning off Sandy, but the Dodgers still went on to win.
