Harry Greb Signed Photograph (8x8")
Boxing’s Golden Age crowned him “The Human Windmill” after he fought in well over 300 bouts over the course of his Hall of Fame career. Now Harry Greb’s autograph is so scarce and coveted, that fossils like these are considered a rare gem. On heavily toned antique photo rests a bold green fountain ink inscription and signature reading, “To My Pals Joey, Boyle & Kid Howard with Best Wishes, From Harry Greb and Mason.” The first two letters of his first name are cut off after the trimming job, but otherwise signature is quite prominent, grading “8” out of a possible 10. Photo displays scrapbook damage on the edges and a couple of creases have caused splits in the paper. G.
