Harry Williams Negro League Contract
The one-time teammate of slugger Josh Gibson, was a force to be reckoned with himself when swinging in international play. Twice a batting champion in the Cuban leagues, he had comparable success in Puerto Rico where he signed this semi-pro player's contract on November 20, 1940. Issued by the Humacao Club and signed in his hand with black fountain pen that grades a 9/10. The document is EX+ with a light center fold from top to bottom.
