Harry Wright Original HOF Postcard Painting By Dick Perez
Hall of Fame baseball innovator Harry Wright is depicted in this original watercolor painting by Dick Perez. It is based on the Hall of Fame postcard series that was a staple from 1980 to 2002, having been used by autograph collectors for years. Housed in an ornate oak frame that measures 23.75" x 28", the painting is in NM-MT condition. Wright - who brought outfield shifts and position backups to the game - was enshrined in Cooperstown in 1953, nearly a full century after his big-league debut with the New York Knickerbockers in 1858.
