Heinz Airplane Cards Advertising Sign
This vintage paper sign from the mid-1930s embraces the growing fascination with modern aviation. Technically, this 12x22" sheet is in VG condition with some light creases and water staining at the top but has a colorful, vibrant appearance. The ad slick for Heinz Breakfast Wheat and Rice Flakes cereal targets children with 25 collectible airplane photos and stories related to each. A few of the models illustrated include Roscoe Turner's "57" Racer and Boeing 247 Transport. Very cool poster!
