This is original boxing artwork done by noted artist for Ring Magazine, C.R.Schaare. This artwork was used for an original 1930's Ring Magazine dealing with the great featherweights of the era. The great Henry Armstrong is pictured in the center, as champion, wearing his crown surrounded by the viable contenders ofthe era, Al Reid, Freddie Miller, Mike Belloise, Dave Catilloux, Leo Rodak, Tony Dupre and Joey Archibald. This is original art painted on board. The colors remain bold. 22 1/2" x 30." Some minor soiling. Small chip out of lower right corner. A few minor chips. Signed by the artist, C.R.Schaare.
