Herbert Hoover was the 31st President of the United States, residing in the Oval Office from 1929-33. Contained in this lot is a handwritten letter signed by Hoover on Stanford University stationary, noting "Your kindly greetings have given great pleasures to this household." The letter has some yellowing around the edges, is written in vivid black ink and the late President's signature rates 8.5/10. Also included in the lot is a typewritten letter signed by his personal secretary on Hoover letterhead, dated September 25, 1936.
