The S. Rae Hickock award was presented in the form of a belt awarded to the professional athlete chosen as the best of the year. It was created in 1950 and its original incarnation ended in 1976, although it has been resurrected in 2012. While the belt was the centerpiece of the award, the accessories in this lot were included as well. The tie bar and money clip were made by Hickok in the 1950s and come in the manufacturer's original box. They contain the logo crest for the award, with "S. Rae Hickock Awards," and "Professional Athlete" engraved on each. While the recipient is unknown, these items are in EX condition, though they show some use and there is a small blemish on the front of the tie bar.
