There was plenty of baseball history made in the Bronx during the Summer of 1956, and this spectacular signed baseball serves as a perfect artifact from that magical season. Not only did the Yankees claim their 17th World Series championship in 34 years, slugger Mickey Mantle captured the American League Triple Crown and Don Larsen tossed the first and only perfect game in Series history. This official American League (Harridge) baseball is NRMT to MINT with near-perfect stampings and 29 blue ink signatures averaging a highly conservative 8/10. There are two clubhouse signatures (Casey Stengel as nearly all of them are and Enos Slaughter) while the rest are by the players themselves. Mantle and Yogi Berra are front and center on the sweet spot. The usual suspects such as Martin, Larsen, Turley, Skowron, Howard, Bauer, Ford, Carey and others are here as well. PSA/DNA LOA included. One of the finest 1956 Yankee balls known.
