Fresh to the market comes this newly discovered and fully PSA graded near complete set of 1956 Topps baseball. With 68% of this set rating NM 7 or higher, this is surely a high grade offering. A complete breakdown on total number of cards, per grade, are shown here: PSA 8 (55): Robinson (oc), Kluszewwski, Killebrew (oc). PSA 7 (180): Mantle, Koufax (oc), Berra, Kaline, Mathews, Rizzuto, Snider, Feller, Ford, Yankees, Aparicio. PSA 6 (85): Mays, Campanella. PSA 5 (16): Williams, Aaron. PSA 4 (3): Smith, Dyck. This set has been put together from one of the originating set collectors in the hobby, who submitted these cards himself 15+ years ago. This set, along with a number of other high grade complete sets in this auction, has been hidden for 15+ years and is being offered to the public for the first time. Many cases are from the early days of PSA grading, so there may be possibilities for upgrades. Another interesting fact is that when the PSA numbers were entered into the database, none of the cards were registered to previous owners except for a minute amount of commons that were filled in by Leland's.
